At up to 9,000 welds per 5 day week, that is $0.10 per weld. Pretty cheap.
Those prices are amazingly low. It doesn't augur well for the rate of depreciation of the ZB.There is 4 or ZB RS v6 AWD for sale in SA for 23500 plus govco costs...……….what are these ex police cars?
One Gold Coast where I am there is a Zb at 19990 and a Calais at 25k.

In other words like flushing good money down the dunnyYou only need to look at the prices previous Opel Insignia sell for in Australia. I would not buy the zb expecting it to be worth much in 5 years . It is only a purchase you would keep till it's use by date I think .
Easy to own expensive to keep. Impossible to unloadA 6 year old Opel looks like a bargain for the spec but how do you afford to own it?
Yeah but if you run it to 160000 who cares what the trade in price is then. Let’s say you pick up a zb at 20k run it for 32000 kms a year to 160000 at 5 years. It costs you 4000$ a year or 80$ a week in capital cost if it’s worth nothing at 160000 kms. Why shouldn’t it last till 160000kms? Has a GM motor and transmission which are supposed to be AOK. So there’s the electrics then? I have a German built Ford done 95000 in 2.5 years zero issues. But I get it serviced properly on time every time. Why shouldn’t a ZB do 160000kms?
