As I understand it Detroit are one of a few that want a second look. Things are looking up for him, hopefully he can make it onto a roster for training camp next year.

Reports were Hayne would have been signed to the Lions practice squad if he didn't have visa issues. That is a pretty big development since the Lions thought he was good enough to be on the practice squad and their scout team versions a future contract for a try out next year.

In other news we have moved into the playoffs with the wildcard round already done. Ravens beat Steelers, Colts beat Bengals (Dalton still hasn't won a playoff game), Cowboys beat Lions (Romo won a playoff game!), Panthers beat the Cards.

Round two of the playoffs sees the Ravens head to Foxboro to versus the Patriots, Broncos have Colts at home. In the NFC the Packers play Dallas and the Seahawks have the Panthers.

Another week, another round of playoffs.

Pats got past the Ravens after being down by two scores though by some questionable tactics.

And another Manning led team chocked in the playoffs as the Broncos were one-and-done The Colts beating them easily to now face the Pats in Foxboro.

Seahawks handled the Panthers and the Cowboys went down to the Packers in a thriller.

Conference Round

The Packers had a big lead and got 4 interceptions but the Hawks still won in a thriller. Marshawn Lynch is as good as advertised.

Pats whipped the Colts but there is some talk they 'cheated' by deflating footballs.

Either way the Patriots play the Seahawks in this year's Superbowl.
