Im pretty sure they last alot longer...But I dont remember either... Normal plugs are every 20,000km's and I know the Bosch ones are around 80,000 for their higher end plugs... So I presume its something similar... with mine having done basically 40,000 now maybe I should look at replacing them :(

Yeah I put em in the VR and noticed no difference what so ever. Thinking with the VN ill do what I did with my previous VN, use the stock NGK's and change them every 5000k's with the oil.

sounds good, yeah i've noticed quite a big difference with mine, at first i didn't then i started giving it some weeties (what the plugs are designed for) and really noticed the difference. fuel economy is still excellent too

nah not sure hey, probably would have been written on the boxes but they're in the bin and it's way too cold to go fishing for them ha ha.
i'd say maybe a year or so? whats the normal rate? i'd probably say 3/4 life of normal plugs? but yeah i'm liking them more each time i drive!!

The guys at repco told me the plugs would last about 100,000 km when I got some for my toyota.

I would say they wouldn't stay in optimum condition for 100K though. If you're after performance it might pay to replace them before that.

With the denso iridiums from toyota I got told they would last for 20000km. They told me that the OEM ones (comes with the factory engines) are the to go for as the last upto 150000km.
I don't know much about the NGK type. But the spending $100 for plugs which last 20000km I think spending $15 for 6 standards plugs more inviting and replace them every 10000km.

according to the NGK website "Featuring a 0.6 mm iridium center electrode tip, they offer superior ignitability without sacrificing durability." "Iridium IX Spark Plugs offer outstanding acceleration, high fuel efficiency and long life"

As NGK have had these for quite a while now i'd be pretty comfortable in relying on them for a long period of time. The First lot that came out were a bit questionable but the IX's i'd say would be pretty good.

definately worth the 100 bucks i say, my car just keeps going harder and faster now with each day :D :driving:

the OEM ones are meant to be replaced atleast every 20,000km's...

The NGK Iridium IX's should last much longer... The BOSCH high end ones last 80,000 to 120,000 depending on what model you purchase.. Titaniums or Super 4's etc.
