To do your L's you wont need a bike.. To do your P's here also you don't need one as you can hire it from the place that takes you for the test... But to pass your P's you really do need to have your own bike and get all the practice...

Yeah, your green slip is the same process as your car.. So once a year... Petrol & registration are the best parts about owning a bike... Plus parking and stuff like that...

I started out on a Suzuki GS500... So it was a 500cc... In NSW the changed the rules so you dont have the 250cc as a restriction... It is all done now on power to weight, so that is why I got the 500cc.. Plus I am over 6 foot, and when I tried to ride the 250cc sports bikes and stuff it felt like I was a clown in the circus riding that tiny bike around the big top ... The only other option was a road/trail bike as they sit a lot hire and give you more room... But my 1000cc is the best fit for me... Best advice is sit on a lot of bikes till you find one you like, and see how long you can take it for a test drive, cause you wanna make sure the seat is comfy...

yeh 4 me there is no point getting my licence until i get a bike, but the problem is with the car and the motorbike the registration and insurance of course is gonna be a lot more than just the car, so i think ill just stick with a car for now til i can afford it and afford a bike of course, hopefully make some money during the summer holidays

it sucks how u have 2 get a 250 or less 2 start with, so of course i want a cbr or something that will give me a bit of power my my engine size

problem with road x trail bikes is they go through tyres on the road unless u get specific road tyres for them, but then u cant ride them in the dirt

Yep, put it in the Hyundai...Am pretty happy with how it turned out. We used a FM modulator to wire up the sound tho... Not too happy with the quality... I am waiting for the RCA connection for the head unit ... Is on back order ...

I have 2 jobs.... I work full time as a call centre manager from 6am-3pm then from 3pm onwards I run a business with a friend and do mortgages and property broking.. So I am usually pretty flat out..
