So I'm back in the Holden Game.

I brought this 2006 HSV Senator almost a year ago, a work college of mine built it all himself, then decided to sell it because he really wanted another car at the time. All the mod's doesn't even have 5000kms on it. I have driven it a couple times since, once at last years Easter and when I brought it home the other day. I had it stored somewhere the entire time. I didn't really have anywhere to put it. I wasn't even looking for another Holden or HSV at the time. I couldn't waste an opportunity of getting a bargain.

This is all the info I have on the mods

Killaboost turbo kit
Proboost billet S480/96 turbo
Turbosmart Progate 50mm
Custom exhaust
Mellings high pressure oil pump
Genuine GM LSA head gaskets
Johnson LS7 lifters + buckets
Crow Cams Turbo street strip cam + dual valve springs
Titanium retainers
Turbosmart eBoost street
Aeroflow billet triple pump hanger with 2x Walbro 540s
Holley EFI fuel rails
Bosch 1250cc injectors
Pedders coilovers all round
Polk Audio speakers run by a Kicker 5 channel amp

Things which require attention & Mods:
  • Get a "built" transmission for it (Still undecided)
  • Hoodlining sagged
  • Radio goes black all the time (Still need to look into options)
  • Starter Motor (clicks) - Done
  • Headlights don't turn off by switch and Auto staying on - Done (replaced switch, cut whole in dash mat for light sensor, still a bit dicky)
  • No air filter (I would like to put one on
  • Dedicated e85 (I would like to get it on both fuel e85 and 98
  • Bodywork (Little crack on RH Side on the Rear bumper & little dents on RHF Fender) - Done
  • I don't like the 22's, they spin way too easily. I would like to go 19's and wider tyres in the rear

All imports i've seen has it. Just weird this one has it. I don't know the history of the car, it was traded in to our dealership at the time. Didn't get service books or anything with it.

I did get the original wheels with it, I was thinking maybe getting them refurbished in gloss black, or get clubsport/gts wheels

VEGTS BUILT BLOWN E85
yea a cluster like that cant be sold in AUS new vehicle, not sure how it passed roadworthy ? AUS cant have the MPH bigger then KPH (shouldnt even have MPH at all really being 2006 build) and there has to be line intervals between the main numbers to pass ADR, maby someone made up the dial or its from UK vehicle, but anyway looks like a nice build always good when boost is added

post #161 will be how to put yours on flex fuel reasonable easy to do, as long as the tune is mathematically correct
