Oh dear, I don't remember. They are H1 Low and H1 high. I think the metal bracket that is screwed into the lamp, I unscrewed it and drilled it to make the hole slightly bigger to fit the hid. Then screwed it back in, I may have put a photo up somewhere of it. The hid's work better in the projector lamps than the halogens do ^^.
Now rolling with dual 10's in the Lancer . I have some carpet lying around to finish it off but no glue left haha.
Might as well copy and paste from the other forum if anyone was interested. Now that I have everything for the commodore I might as well upload some photos. This should finish the stereo off. The list of gear 320A Mechman Alt 8m of Shok competition -red (OFC) cable for the main power run from front bat to rear bat and hopefully have enough for the alt wiring. 3m of Shock competition (black) for the battery grounds. 3m Shok Classic (blue) + 3m black for the amp power runs 3 350a custom fuses 4 80mm fans with grills to cool the amp down, probably wont end up using them all. 25m 10 gauge OFC for the midwoofers, going to relocate the crossovers to the boot to clean things up a bit as I have crossovers behind the steering collumn, under floor carpet, kick panels etc. and going to hit up MTO customs to help finish things off, also getting hood lining finally trimmed in suede or any black material and reverse sensors painted and fitted. Oh and if you want cable or accessories these guys are really good> Coinslot Enterprises and for the Perth boys. Anything from engine swaps to custom audio/visual installations. This guy in Malaga is really good> MTO Customs [Sorry haters more audio stuff lol.]
Why not pitch in a bit extra cash and use OFC to the amp as well, Nic? Sent from my GT-I9507 using Tapatalk
With such a nice looking alternator it's a shame it's mounted so low on the LS1 that you can't see it.
Yesterday after work I decided to do the alt install this weekend so I jacked her up. Wow so much easier to do sht with the front bumper off. So once the alt was out I made sure it was exactly like the new one. I also had some time to carpet the box in the Lancer after going shopping this morning to get some glue. It got a bit messy with the coolant but nothing I can't handle =]. Then test fitted with the drive belt and took it off the stands tonight and do some wiring tomorrow.
The finished product for the Lancer. Still repping stock speakers. So I started today by taking my commodore out after about 5 weeks of sitting in the shed collecting dust. First I jacked her up and washed underneath, still didn't manage to get the red dust off =p. Then I gave the Lancer a wash because I wanted to polish up the sun burnt faded bonnet/roof. It is still not 100% but it looks better than it was before. Then by late afternoon it cooled down a bit and the weather was looking nice so I ending up giving the ss a wash. The bonnet protector needs to go. Then I took her for a test run and the voltage did not drop below 13v cranking the stezza xD. Then I got back and put her back to sleep at the back of the shed (hehe) and took some photos of the lights. I brought all new hid's and changed them all to 5000k and they looking good.
Finished as promised . I will have more photos tomorrow when there is light. Looks like the A-pillers are going to get re done and trimmed properly too eventually. Now I just need to paint those little clips etc. and jam up that sunglasses holder because it kinda broke lol.
Thanks, voltage wont drop below 13v even when fully cranking it . Headlights are cool, seen heaps of VZ's on the road with them, look pretty fancy. Sorry for the photo load but things are starting to look nice. And finally got heavy duty springs to fit today.
