Really ? I thought you were being sarcastic when you first questioned it.

I noticed you liked it but didn't respond to him haha

Update time, not sure if anyone on here since the last time I posted. I have rarely driven it but I have recently done some stuff.

Firstly, I changed the radio because I wanted an android to run the Torque app and a few other things. Oh yeah that reminds me, I need to ask them if they can have an option to change the mph to km/h and Fahrenheit to Celsius, it's a little iffy but.

Headlight upgrade to LED which is currently on pause because Phillips website told me 9005 and 9006 which is actually H1 & HB3 -.-. Oh and front brace.

Carbon rear roof fins. I was worried about this one because I don't like alot of carbon on the car. But I think it matches with the spoiler. I really would like to get carbon front lip too.

Rear Strut Brace

Hopefully I can have it on the track by the end of this year.

Update time. Alot has happened.

I went to the power cruise last year (I've never been). I had a blast.

As it currently sits. I've added genuine weather shields and rear window sunshade because I started driving it to work everyday which lasted about 6 months.

Some updates (wow 3 years later)

Just been trying to keep it clean. It has been in and out of the shop the last couple years. Long story short, it has a fully built 2.3L and blew 4th gear on the dyno. So now it has a built gearbox (stronger 3rd 4th and 5th gears) Still kept it stock frame, upgraded turbo. Makes 400kw atw. I kept the standard look for the street.

I have a set of 18" wheels for it (BBS Forged) which I've had the past 12 months or so. I want to do coil overs (electronically controlled), possibly big brake kit (6pot front) and some good tyres for the 18's 255 wide. It has cheap Nexens 10 years old on it. I've done a few roll racing events, Powercruise etc. I've yet to do a track day.

So the built 6sp lasted umm 1 month. So it was time to do the all mighty 5sp conversion. Luckily they let me do it at work. I didn't want to do all that at home on the floor.

So Lots of upgrades as well, including, Exedy Twin plate Clutch, all new engine/gearbox mounts. I have new shockworks Coilovers to put in.

Does the 5spd have a stronger gearset then the 6spd?
With more power you probably don't require as many gears anyway.

They say the 5 speed has less moving parts inside the box which makes them "stronger" but people still break them, if I drive like an idiot, I would probably break it too haha.

I imagine the physical space available in the engine bay is the same, so 1 less gearset means wider teeth on the remainder.

You would see it if you opened them up. Probably easier to Google it though (I might do that now)
