    thanks for that mate. when i re tint i wanna see how it looks with the spoiler back on so that brake light would be coming off.

    so finally a clear photo of the dash.

    old school grey interior :(, i really like the black ones.

    paint it bud, even piano black around the edges similar to mine would look killer, or check out jests thread and what he did with the carbon fibre on his clubby

    Im not a fa of the spoilers on vz's.. i reckon they look way better off.. especially really low ones! Haha, its your car though your choice.

    Good to see you stopped wasting money on deadner and put some foam where it was rattling. All though it looks like "accoustic" foam, which i hope it isn't, foam is foam when jammed between 2 bits. Oh and the dash mat, see told ya it would sound better :rockon:

    yeah it is convoluted foam. i was told by steve it would be better to use it. ohh well it was really cheap anyway, and i think i brought it on a special when they had the 20% off all foam.

    Theres some nice mods, don't get me wrong but from what I've heard of it the subs wreck it. Overkill for nothing.

    Looks good mate, how do you find the sound deadening?

    When i was trying to sound proof the boot of my VY i tried numerous different cheap brands and the majority of it ended up falling off. Ended up with dynamat which i can only assume is still stuck on there now.

    btw- i vote lose the sticker on the back

    I was going to powdercoat these 18's black, I havn't decided yet :)

    The solavis deadener is good, never had issues with it except papercuts all over my hands haha. As for the stickers, i will end up removing the JL one. One day :p

    I wonder how to remove that antenna, won't there be a hole in the window if i unscrew it and take it out?

    I cleaned the tip with alluminium foil+water, it came out alright.

    i'm thinking about painting it now, i was thinking green/black or silver/black or just black.

    i need to replace the front middle dash trim frirst, it's a bit broken :p

    you should just go to a wreckers, grab some trim off a vy/vz cheap then have a go at painting that different colours and combos and see what you like, then when you decide what you like paint it up and replace the one in yours, then when you go to sell if need be you can put factory trim back in

    yeah, i put a ad up on gumtree, i want to get all my fked interior peices replaced so i can have a clean car, right now its fking rough haha.

    for anyone in perth, this is what i'm after.

    I want to get a lip or bobtail spoiler, any suggestions?

    one of these: bobtail | lip

    EDIT: mehh the spoiler can wait for now ^ putting the factory one back on when window tint is done.

    I rekon you should paint your numberplate surround like an SS. so paint the outside bit green but leave the inside bit black.
