hey guys just went down to the shop and on the way home my car had sweet F.A acceleration, as i pulled into the drive way the revs dropped way below 1000 down to about 300 n then stalled, it started straight away but ran really rough at 300 rpm still, when i pulled it into drive it would jult like someone was playing with a clutch ( Mines auto tho ) letting it in n out without lettin it stall, no matter how far i put the accelerator down it wouldnt move,it also happened to me the other night driving along the M4 i pulled into the breakdown lane and turned the car off then started it again and it drove fine again the check light is lit on my dash but the paper clip trick doesnt work on the GEN3 motors does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can check or where to start looking? i need my car for work
Could be going into limp home mode?? If thats the case then it'd be the knock sensors setting it off? Just a suggestion...
maybe something to do with your stall converter check oil level... check plugs leads ect .... maf sensor and wires... sounds like a tricky one might be worth payin some coin to get a mechanic to plug in and check error codes
Local mechanic said try the fuel filter, I'm changing that now as I write this so I'll Post up how I go
