a bit off topic but in victoria, the current fashion of blue light globes as running lights or blue tinted driving lights is illegal and the fine is about $150

dont know about other states

with high petrol prices, its the fashion down here to steal number plates and put them on your car, then fill up at a self serve, drive off then back on with the old plates, 1 way screws, pop rivets, or coach head bolts and superglue are in use to save the plates

Blue as in Blue blue, or the headlights blue vision? Blue vision is as legal as it gets. Any other colour besides clear is illegal, not sure about green though, i don't wanbt to try, i had reds but pulled them out cuz fashion aint worth 150dollars and points when u only have 1 left.

Clear is legal for the front, amber for the sides, that's y u see the cow ****y/outback cars/utes with them all up side and not getting pulled over, and red for the back. If u wanted to u could probably use a red underbody as a brake light and not get booked.

there are new security screws at autobarn to stop your plates being stolen. the company that makes them also keeps a register of the places that keep the tools to remove them.
