No Cluster Lights!!!

    ok i duno wats happened, but tha otha night got in my car, turned it on, turned on tha headlights, and tha instrument cluster came on for like 1second then cliked off!
    all my head lights/tail lights are workin fine, all my button lights r workin fine (hazard button antenna button all that) but my cluster dosnt come on,
    its not a fuse or globe, cause it comes on for a brief sec then clicks off
    wat is it???? i was drivin around last night jus guessin my speed, cause i cant c tha dial!

    any help??

    The little switch on the headlight main switch that controls the dash light brightness, give that a wiggle and see what happens. Also it could be a loose connection where the harness goes into the cluster.

    might sound simple but did you check the fuse?

    seeing its a calais, isnt all the lighting controlled by a module of some sort? remember seeing something in a gregorys once. maybe thats had it and needs replacing if nothing else is wrong.

    its not a fuse, cheked those, and it cums on all fine when i first turn tha lights on, but then cliks off, my guess is there must b sum sort of a short sumwere? but im no electricion, so duno

    Might just be the Cluster switch on the side, You wouldn't believe how much of a **** they can be.. Pull it out and have a look..

    Almost 3 years ago when i bought my VP i had the previous owner telling me the dash light went out one night, Changed the headlight switch and all was fine.
