Hi all,

Had a search and happy to be steered into one which provides the answer.
Have an LS3 Calais wagon with plenty of fruit (Magnuson 2300 etc).
I’ve taken out the VCM Cam, 1 7/8 headers with a complete 3 “ and put in LSA spec Cam and full exhaust. The exhaust has BI modal and hate the minimal noise where the valves close under low rpm range with bi modal on. I have removed the relay to have the valve gates open permanently etc. I want to have an individual switch (not through my link) to open or close the valves so in 4am starts it can be easily done (not plugging in a relay each time).
Anyone been able to do this without doing a Varex etc as yet?

yeah i've got one similar to that, its basically two options per mylink setting

mylink on - auto/open
mylink off - close/open

I have Varex on my Jeep SRT.

have full system on it. Get them with smart box that plugs into your OBD, can program the valves to be open / closed and micro adjustment based on rpm, throttle position, and speed. Can also set up geo fences so valves close in certain locations as it has in built GPS.

Hi there. That’s what I had in my previous car aye. Could shut valves geographically etc
Just want to tap into the current valves hopefully.

So did this provide a work around to either have open or closed (not be open and close pending rpms etc)

There's also the same product from LSXtreme for $185. I'm looking at getting one of these fitted to a Director so that I can have the option of open bimodals in the comfort MRC tour mode. Will be happy to hear anyone's thoughts if they have purchased this or a similar product?
The Varex is nice but far too expensive as an option unfortunately.

Seen the ebay one in action. It looks home built with most of the parts available from jaycar. Works a treat though. Nothing wrong with it.

I have that exact ebay one. Seller and product is extremely easy. I got the big singular button for simple looks. Dual button might make it easier to know on and off though.
