G'day all.
A few weeks ago I had to replace my auto tranny(Got a 2nd hand one fitted),anyway, the other day I was reversing a trailer with a load of mulch in it(Not heavy)and I heard a big clunk,no more reverse but all forward ones are ok.Is the box shot or could there be an easy (cheap) fix.
Thanks.

if you have all forward gears then id say reverse clutches. Do a search on google to 4L60E no reverse, plenty of info.

Hey mate, I had a tranny with no reverse in it for a while but all my forward gears worked...I was being an idiot when it happened but I heard a loud clunk n I think it ended up being a cracked sunflex? sunrise? sun-something plate...I''m not entirely sure if thats why reverse didnt work but I ended up getting the whole box re-built with a corvette servo too....$1600 later...
