no power to my fuel pump

not if you have an 044 pump it will need good return flow 5/16th or so fuel line

is it safe to drill a new return fitting into the tank when it is empty and vented

i have a roll of that in copper is this ok 4 fuel

if you need to fit a bigger return the safest way is pull the fuel sender out and drill the hole in that and weld in fitting or pipe and then refit to take dont drill the tank if you dont have to.copper will be fine for fuel dont know how legal it will be but

ok im sure there is plenty of room there as it has a separate sender housing

thanks m8 im confident again
this is the connector that plug's in just above the ecu it has the following colors wires
K.B / PINK.BLACK .1
BROWN.WHITE .2
BLUE .3
VIOLET. WHITE .4
BLACK.WHITE .5
WHITE.BLACK .6
BROWN.WHITE . 7
RED.BLACK .8
I WENT TO THE WRECKERS TO DAY AND GOT THE PLUG TO HARD TO GET THE ENTIRE LOOM

i think this is how it goes
K.B / PINK.BLACK .1 maybe ign A4
BROWN.WHITE .2 not sure check engine lamp F5
BLUE .3 power economy switch F12
VIOLET. WHITE .4 speedometer C5
BLACK.WHITE .5 not sure
WHITE.BLACK .6 Diagnosis connector B3
BROWN.WHITE . 7 not sure brake fail lamp B9
RED.BLACK .8 constant power B8 A8 20amp fuse or Diagnosis connector A3
I WENT TO THE WRECKERS TO DAY AND GOT THE PLUG TO HARD TO GET THE ENTIRE LOOM


it is not clear to me how to tell the brown and white wires apart as there is 2 of them but i can trace them down to the ecu HOPE

How would i use the check engine light and the diagnosis sys

check engine light has ignition power into the bulb then off to the ecu pin out of the bulb
