No threads about it even tho there is a VL brocky and a torana xu1 competing in the competition? Its a show on FOX8 testing 7 highly modified street cars to see what car is the best. 1969 Chevrolet corvette stingray [7LI-540] 2002 Mazda RX7 [NVMYRE] 1971 Ford Falcon GT [DJG-330] 2002 Ferrari 360 Modena [QS] 1973 Holden Torana XU-1 [XU1-05L] 1998 Nissan 200sx [JET-200] 1986 Holden VL Group A SS Brocky [VL HDT] The first episode last friday was to test "Drivability".... Guess what won?? THE VL!!!:yeah: Both Holdens did very well. Next episode there testing speed down an air strip or something... It looks like a pretty good show... anyone watch it???
yer i watched it, go the commodore! it was funny how the guy got (jokingly) ****ed off that the brock beat his ferrari hahaha the brock was the only one that drifted a full loop, was funny that the ricers couldnt.
its a good show but too bad the host and most the drivers are all wankers...its like they went out and got the most annoying people they could find
Yeah the drivers are all wankers, the guy in the Vette isnt to bad however. I bet a few Brocky fans are spitting chips over the VL. The guy in the ferrario is the worst, its like he hasnt even put the effort into his car like the other blokes. Hes just gone and brought the most expensive car. Look under the hood though its got 2 snails.
Yeah that XU1 is off the hook. Like the Brocky, he's put a lot of work into it. The guy in the ferrari cracks me up, he's trying to fit the stereotype of a wog. The RX7 would have done better I expect with a working clutch. The corvette is crazy.
Black and white, says on smh it's a 540ci engine. This part cracked me up: Other proud contestants protest similarly throughout the show - when Andy's Corvette is assessed unfavourably in the "driveability" challenge, judge Ian Luff (twice 24- hour winner at Bathurst and 2004 Australian production car champion) is told he "couldn't handle the power".
damn i knew i forgot something on friday lol........ be good to see how that 360 modena pulls down the drag strip
Cousin knows the guy who owns the RX7. It's a series full of bastardised classics!!! V8 XU1, stroked GT, totally rebuilt (not standard) VL Group A. The Ferrari is owned by Queen Street...........biggest chops in Australia.
