    My VX has a rattling noise underneath car which only seems to happen when the engine is started. It seems to be on the passenger side somewhere. Any ideas?

    Ran over a tin rattler? Does the rattle sound like loose change in a tin? Get weird shouts of help?

    The rattle is noticable when I am the only person in car which could mean it is something to do with the weight on one side. It appears to be on the passenger side but might also be in the centre or somewhere else. It's hard to pinpoint where it actually is. It only occurs when the enginge first starts up then it dissapears.

    if it only happens when it starts then i would first look at the starter

    Well I had a 70,000km service done on the car today and they didn't find anything. They did put a note on the invoice saying " Will need stud bar kit rubbers soon". This might sound silly, but What are stud bar kit rubbers?
