Did not try that...
Will test tomorrow to rule out potential gearbox related issue..
Worth a try. Don't hit reverse!
PS. Could be anywhere in the driveline, or even the exhaust. Personally, I doubt it's anything serious.

Agree. I am sure it is something minor but it sure is annoying as hell....especially when you have ocd personality traits :)

Haha. You sound like me with rattles. I can't tolerate them! Thankfully mine doesn't have any annoying rattles. Might be something to do with, keeping the rubber seals lubed and greasing door strikers etc...

So now you are sure it is not MSE then it has to be the tune. Specifically my money is on Launch Spark and Catalytic Convertor Light Off being different (not damaging or bad) just in order to meet Euro 5.

No noise in neutral at any revs
Knocking stops as soon as i lift the foot of the accelerator

Or as soon as you take it out of gear?

If it's in D and i lift the foot off the noise is gone...
Also gone as soon as i shift into N

Or as soon as you take it out of gear?
If it's coming from the donk, even if just induction noise, due to the tune parameters Monstar is referring to, surely it could be replicated in neutral?

And if you gently rev it as your rolling along in neutral? No strange noise?
