200kw!?!?!?!!

turbo is the only option in your case by the sounds of that..

cai, extractors a good flowing exhaust, tune the af meter to 180ohms ( the best i could get, made it a bit rougher at idle but the computer says the mixture is perfect and it sure revs alot harder) and advance the timing to about 20degrees..

and the obvious, get rid of the slush box and get a manual. best thing you can do to speed it up

Your best bet is to bolt either a rb25 or 26 head onto the rb30 block, Apparently the 25 head is a easier fit.

cypher, a standard Vl 6 cyl can accelerate well and do 200kph
surely that should be enough for any young driver, an advanced driving course and a set of premium tyres would help you stay alive longer and cope better with the power the car already has

The VL is now a cult car but remember that are all about 20 years old and mostly worn out

harry i have a vs with an ls2 v8 engine, compare that to my vl and it feels like i could push it faster, but the advanced driving course couldnt hurt.

Also the vl has LPG will that be an issue with changing the head to an rb25? or should i get rid of the gas?

DAMMIT!!! i was goin 2 say that, bet me 2 it lol

go cam, exhaust, head work and rebuild depending how much km's its done..

200kw's, u serious????? u wont get that from an N/A rb engine unless you go the path that everyone seems to go with the vl and thats a turbo.

dont u want a turbo because the cops will put a d1ck in ur ass coz ur on ur p's or do u want to be different?
