Not Happy, Rust!! (also vt-vz)

    i just found this rust spot today, not to happy and im gunna make sure its fixed under warranty, so for you other vt-vz wagon owners check underneath the dust deflector on the tail gate

    yea not to happy about it, on the plus side if they replace the tail gate the horrible dent on the other side will be gone to, and if they just want to cut it out and bog it or something im gunna kick and scream

    going to go and see the guys on Tuesday to knock em up for a new one, and try and get my diff sorted at the same time

    Thats not good at all for a car that young. As bad as it sounds I hope that yours is a one off and no one else's has rust. Best of luck getting it fixed man :thumbsup:

    No its not a one off my old S1 VT wagon had exacly the same problem, it came though where the delector touched the car. becuase the car wasnt under waranty i fixed it up myself cause the rust was only surface and was under the deflector.

    your on the money, did your deflector rattle and creak aswell, the other side has worn the paint down to the undercoat, when it gets fixed im gunna try and put something underneath where it mounts to protect the paint

    it certainly is, thats for the 3 year new car warranty tho
