Firstly, just wondering if i can use a cluster from a v8? is it any different?
Secondly, if i buy the climate control thingo, can i just plug and play with a full calais/berlina loom? instead of soldering?
Any help would be great thanks!

Sorry but it kinda is the usual :p

Basically no, you need to use a V6 dash for a V6, the V8 unit wont work. And more bad news, the climate control module wont work either because the actual heater box in the bottom of the dash is different. The climate control heater box has solenoids in it to open heating/cooling automatically as needed... its a pretty large job swapping to climate control and they always break anyway

Using a V8 cluster in a V6 will have tacho out of whack. Speedo and temp/fuel will work OK.

Climate is dash out and swap heater box.
