Number Plate lights - Please help

    Hello, can anyone help me, My VZ number plate lights are not working, we have changed the bulbs, but it didn't help, any ideas?

    Are your parkers (same circuit) working ?

    Sedan, wagon or ute?

    It's a sedan, the park lights, lights, and all other lights work it's just the number plate lights that don't

    All I can suggest is you make sure the bulb is contacting the holder properly.

    Make sure the wire on each side of the bulb is properly set and pinch the copper contacts on the holder together for better contact. Clean any dust on holder contacts.

    Thankyou for your help, we were contacted today while the car was being serviced, to say that the number plate lights were not working, after looking through the wiring in the boot, we found that they had been unplugged from the main wiring loom. After plugging back in they now work perfectly :)

    thats a bit random!

    I assume youve had something installed recently like a towbar or spoiler??
