O2 sensor troubleshooting

Hi everyone. I think that by installing a new rhs o2 sensor on my 03 ecotec berlina that it wont have solved my problem even though i've been told to do it by someone with a scanner. My gregories manual for my vt has some great troubleshooting ideas one can try at the ecu and other places etc to try to find probs. The 03 berlina ecu has different connections to the vt so my manual wont be of much use. Might any of you guys know if other brands of vy workshop manuals might have similar electrical fault finding ideas as the gregories manual? I've seen Haynes and Max Ellery brand manuals on ebay. Any knowledge on these would be appreciated. Long shot though i know. Gus.

It shouldn't be that hard to replace it,
Then reset the Code ?
Also check the wiring and plug to it, as they are subject to a lot of heat.

Use Bosch O2’s. I’ve had no end of hassles with non genuine O2’s.

as posted above.. which brand 02 sensor did you use? ntk are proven to work well and bosch also..

do you have access to a tech 2 or obd2 reader? check the live data... or more so what's the actual issue?
