some work, but have their limitations, can also depend on what model car your scanning. I have a foxwell that I use on my ve ss ( listed as Pontiac g8 on it ), which works well for reading/ erasing codes on it, it doesn't work with my vu ss though
I have a Blutooth adapter and use a mobile application called Torque Pro (Torque Lite for free). The free application has very minimal limitations, for troubleshooting is great, paid version removes the ad banner and has few more things.
Works great on all my USA ODB2 cars and I bet it will work down in Oz.
