VP S-Pack Oct '91 - VT SrsII Wagon
This is one of my vehicles being a '91 SrsI S-Pack VP HSV optioned by first owner, I'm the 2nd owner so not many around like mine in the 8 years I've owned it. I've only ever seen one other & that's me living in the 3 Eastern States. If you know me then you know what it's capable of due to the mods I have applied. I don't fry tyres as it's just stupid IMO, I get 6.9 per 100 & run different tunes to suit various conditions. It was originally owned by a Uni professor so I doubt he was doing fully sick burnouts in it lol.

I originally got it to drive down to Victoria from the Northern Beaches in Sydney, I bumped into a mate in 2007 who said his old man had an old VP with plenty of added options (like an 80 litre fuel tank) that he hadn't used since 2002. I dropped by checked it out & drove off happy with it, as there were log books plus a giant folder full of receipts from work done on it since he'd purchased it brand new from Suttons in Arncliffe. It had 145k on the ODO, still absolutely immaculate SS interior, no rust, very straight plus perfectly kept paint etc. There is no indication that the currently installed Buick will not keep running full-time, very tough high torque motor. Eitherway I've built a new fully worked performance Buick motor, which I will put in on my break. There were only 1000 of these VP variants made (stock) & at 1.3 tonnes, the power to weight ratio is the best out of VN VP VR Buicks.

New Engine On Stand :- I've built a Brand New hi performance 3800 Buick S/C ready motor with bowl ported heads, E.V.L valve & guide set, Hypatec pistons, stage 2 Crow Cam, bee hive springs, Crow push rods & lifters, CS6VP Crow Timing set, New Timing chain tensioner, 1.7:1 YT rockers, cometic head gaskets, fully ported inlet manifold, 9.6 n/a up from 8.5 compression to allow 10 - 12 pound boost from which ever FI I choose - be it a complete Twin Turbo set up or just keep it neat with the Roots Supercharged Eaton M62, which was originally standard equipment for the 3800 in the US.
M62-Opened-Up-2.jpgM62-Opened-Up-1.jpg
I have a reco'd & ported Top Mount Eaton M62 & I have created a custom 25mm insulator to match. For the Twin Turbo set up fuel delivery is vital & I have completely assembled 3Ltr Surge with dual 044's running -8An braided S/S lines, from boot to bay into custom fuel rails/rising rate sard regulator. The S/S braided line goes back to the fuel tank to complete the cycle. The new 255 Walbro internal hi-volume fuel pump I will install regardless of which path I choose. This will include a quality custom a2a intercooler set up, 2 Bar Map sensor plus tune & 6 x 833cc Deka injectors for when I go FI (will be live Dyno Delco tuning after installing FI though) . I have this new performance V6 3800 now properly mated up to another new TH700R & a 3k Hi-Stall TLC (other TH700R & Hi-Stall TLC are fine - Great spares!) . I'm about 75% there now as the pics show, & I'll break it in N/A with the Custom Bench N/A tune on my next break.
I am rebuilding the old 3800 original S-Pack engine from the ground up with similar specs, all the good bits but a larger cam, even stronger bottom end & more quality time spent on the head porting :)

Thanks for the compliments! , I have a bunch of interior pics I took a while back, so I will post them soon. I also have a custom tailored semi leather interior to install, I designed it & an upholstery place created it - they even got the T23i trim colour bang on! Got a new MOMO steering wheel sitting on the work bench to replace the old MOMO steering wheel. I have installed Alpine Type R front splits, New Vibe 6" speakers in the parcel shelf & currently have dual 12" subs in the boot. The wiring kit is "0" Guage (thick) & I've mounted the amps on a removable piece of 16mm mdf which I covered with dark gray speaker carpet. I have installed quality brushless fans that are triggered by the amp remote cable to keep the amps cool, & on top of the amps I created & laser cut a clear perspex lid with the HSV logo illuminated by led lights.

Cool mate, here are a few older pics from last year of the S-Pack (SS) interior, I sold the rear "Aunger Louvre" which was pretty good for the heat up here. Have had darkest legal tint all round for awhile now, which is really great + last pic is the boot install with the lid off. I am really looking forward to installing the new custom tailored semi leather interior I had created - it's been sitting in the walk in robe for nearly a year on the top shelf, plus the brand new MOMO steering wheel I recently got to match it all ;)
