$600 for a cat back exhaust? Thats fairly excessive...
2 1/2 inch cat back should cost ~ $250

i had a look at my resonator and tail pipe section it seems to be bent a little other then where it should be maybe that's why it keeps destroying mufflers well im off to go get my new zorst should be a headache getting there seeing it sounds like a truck lol

if youre live axle and lowered, could the panhard need adjusting? could be the sideways shift is knocking it. i had a rattle that was something knocking it, and i think the panhard was to blame

With the series 2 VN the stock exhaust came with a flex in the rear muffler to alleviate vibrations and to stop the exhaust from cracking.

Get a flexible bellows fitted between the two mufflers and it should fix your problem.

If it is hitting the diff, loosen the clamp on the rear muffler, push the middle miffler away form the diff and tighten the clamp.

i cant its a welded center piece with a clamp to join the tail pipe on i think i may have to adjust the tail pipe so the rubbers hold it higher or maybe if worse comes to worse cut a piece out of the center about an 3 or 4 cm long and clamp it back together it almost seems just that little bit to long like you said
