problem solved the car was a country car and looking at the floor pans its hit the odd rock here and there i thought the y pipe was slightly bent having said that to the eye it looks in normal position so i took the cat off and put a pipe into the y pipe and pulled it back about an inch now it fits right no clanging when under heavy breaks all fits well

its funny it droans at low revs but ya hit hi gear and it stops 100 km ph i can hardly here it which is nice i think ill keep an eye out for some extractors when i have a bit more cash :thumbsup:
