love the vs shape, nice choice

and in regards to new wheels, everyone says you cant fit 9.5 on the rear
but the guy who owns Sydney Guard Rolling, Nelson, has 9.5's on the rear of his vy ss wagon, and he said with the right guard lipping it's very possible

Well i got an email today from harrop about the wheels.. Came to $1090 for each wheel (20x9 powdercoated white with chrome dish)

While ther quite expensive im kinda thinking about it although I will have to buy them after I come back from dubai later this year

I reckon you should go these:

    HARROP | Wheels

With the biggest dish you can put on the rear without tubbing it + skinny dish on the front

Would look amazing to say the least

Hey mate i tried to send you a private message but your inbox is full!
Feel free to private message me back so as not to hi-jack this thread

"I've been following your thread pretty much since it started and i'm pretty keen on an LS3 conversion as well.

That being said, i drive a V6 4spd automatic Acclaim. Would it be any more difficult to do the conversion to my car? I was also interested in a 6spd manual conversion.

I have a heap of questions but that pretty much generalises them!
Let me know if you have some time to talk about it"

    Cheers, Gus

Not my thread I know but...LS3 conversion AND a manual conversion...with the kind of money you would spend...you would be much better off selling your acclaim and buying a VE SS or something similar.
From the threads I have read about manual conversions all the guys that have done them said they were a complete nightmare and they should"ve just sold and bought a manual. Sorry for jumping in for a question directed to him..just my 2 cents.

no problems, thanks for your input!
the reasons being are; i love sleepers, not the biggest fan of the VE shell and i'm really happy with my car and can't see myself parting from it anytime soon.

the LS3 is the main priority and the manual conversion was a long shot to be honest. I am really keen on changing it but if it was going to be too expensive then i would just work the auto on it as i've read they're a good gearbox to work with (correct me if i'm wrong)

    Alright, sorry for the hi-jack!
