Oil filter comes loose and leaks

Hi guys.
The mothers car has an oil leak Iv had to the mechanic and the oil filter came loose and leaked now the oil filter keeps coming loose and leaking I keep tightening it but keep coming loose any ideas to stop this from happening ?

put some muscle into it and tighten it harder , really hard.

put a new oil filter on it and see if it stops, hopefully its not the oil pump itself being a bitch with the thread for the filter.

Cartridge style? If so, needs a new housing seal. They're about $80 from Holden.

Haha I have put muscle into it and had mechanic replace the filter stupid bloody Astra..
Worst bit is that it's not just dripping it's leaving a decent puddle of oil every night
