oil flush cleaner

    hey guys im just about to do a oil service on my car i was thinking would it be alrite to use sonax oil flush cleaner to clean the motor out or is it a bad idea ??

    any feeback would love to know thanks:wax:

    its a much of a muchness, buildup in engines can be the only thing keeping them sealed sometimes, running the flush through could break some crap off so it can block something up too.

    then again, iff all goes well and it all drains out and nothing leaks, yeah its good.

    I use it if water has been in the engine.

    I've used the NULON Engine Oil flush cleaner on a variety of vehicles and never had an issue with it. After using it the oil certainly drains out of the sump quickly. I guess it depends on how the engine has been looked after with previous servicing, in particular oil changes. If the pickup was clogged up and you were experiencing low oil pressure then this stuff could help clear it out. Whats the colour of the oil in the sump at the moment like?
