Hey all,

I'm hoping someone might be able to help me, my '04 VX has just started pissing oil from the oil pressure sensor. It's had a slight leak for a while, but today it completely fubar'd. Any tips on changing it? Do I need to replace to whole thing that screws into the engine? Or will just replacing the plastic plug (which is where the oil is coming from) do the trick?

Cheers in advance for any advice...

You need to change the whole thing. They are about $25 on Ebay

I had to change 2 of these units as the electrical connectors got wet and my dash registered an 'engine check' warning. My mechanic thought that by spraying electrical cleaner will 'dry out' the connectors after having them unplugged and making sure they were completely dry. but it still registered the warning on the dash. changed to a new unit and the problem went away.
