Can anyone beat this for an oil leak? My brothers VK 202 Vacationer. I replaced the engine side cover gaskets but I don't think it made a difference. This pic is awesome. Shhh don't tell the EPA. Anyone have any better pics?
If only i had pics hey mate nice leak , i have a VP ute an i blew the gasket out of the sump pan, there was oil from front to back an the patch in my driveway is about 2 meters square
Haha well I am glad my beast isnt even close to that! Some people don't like looking after their cars. His whole VK is trashed! I am sure it's only survived because I have done a lot of work on it for him. I didn't even get a 6 pack from doing the work either. :ranting:
When we were lookin for another car, a mate's Dad said he had a VC wagon which he'd sell us. He has shitloads of cars and car bodies, an from a lot of people I ask he's a bit dodgy. But we went out and had a look at the wagon and it was a peice of ****, the body wasn't very straight, the enteriour was cracked hell bad and he said it had an oil leak. So we lifted the bonnet and no **** the entire engine bay was covered in oil. I laughed at him, then I asked him how much he wanted for it and he said "You give us ur vh wagon, ur spare vh parts car and $400 and u can have it, but u gotta give the motor back".....we said nope, coz no **** I wouldn't pay more then $100 for it. I can't beleive how much he wanted. But yeah, the entire motor must have had stuffed gaskets all through it coz ya couldn't even tell wat colour paint the engine bay was coz the whole damn thing was covered in oil.....like a bomb filled with oil had gone off!
Yeah the inside wall of the tyre is super oily but the actual part of the wheel that makes contact with the road is safe. His car rides like a boat. You should see the front bounce up and down over a speed hump!
