oil leak

    i gave my vt a oil change, and while underneath the car, i saw that the power sterring was leaking. is there a fix ,or is the rack stuffed ,if so can it be done by myself,looks a big job how much for a reco rack thanks

    depends mate if ur leaking from the reserviour round da not so expensive from wreckers if ur leaking from hoses 20 buks from auto barn if its from da rack den ur looking a easy 80 plus i presume from wreckers if u noe wat ur doing not hard job disconect the rack from the front rotors unblth thebolts holding it up disconnect from the steering column its out

    Flush it out and put some of the Penrite ATF 3 in it. Has some seal conditioners, cleaners, see how it goes that way first. Tighten the hoses as well and degrease to see exactly where the leak is coming from. Are you talking about on the rack of pump ? Weeping is normal on the rack, wet spots, and like i said, try the Penrite and see how you go. Main thing is to monitor level from resevoir.
