Oil Life %

Hi all. Had my 15K service done in the SS last week and was expecting the Oil life to reset back to 100% when in Engineering Mode. Anyone know how to reset this? No biggie but it just annoys me!

1. Turn the key to 'ON' but do not start the car.
2. push accelerator pedal fully to the floor 3 times
3. turn off igntion

The next time you go into engineering mode the oil life will be 100%

im confused if ya go do this it sets it back to 100% but if ya go into engineer mode it makes it 0% again?

My car has now done around 5,700km --- just got my mechanic to drop the original oil, replace the filter and give the car a once-over in case there was something I'd missed to report to the dealer.

Anyway, the oil life is still at 65% -- is it possible to reset it at this point to show 100% again? Got nicer Castrol Edge Sport 5w30 [Synthetic] oil in now

Hey Guys i have a Sv6, 2011, I can't reset either, i have done the 3 pump procedure swell

ignition on, dont start car, pump gas three times quickly, should reset.

Mmmmm i have tried that, thats why i thought maybe series 2 have a different procedure?..... It just doesn't do it....a bit puzzling
I asked Holden Dealer... told me that VE's don't have the Oil Life System only Cruz's..... lol "First They Herd of It"
