vs commodore executive
I'm having an issue where oil is leaking on the driver side extractors which is causing smoke and I dont know where the leak is coming from. I replaced the rocket cover gasket but that didnt help. Any thoughts on what is happening?View attachment 208329View attachment 208330View attachment 208331
Ran the engine for about 10 minutes yesterday. Today no smoke or wet exhaust. Instead white smoke coming out exhaust. Noticed coolant seeping from inlet manifold gasket. Fun times ahead.

I personally think you are something different but I won't call you that, so go and grab yourself a magnifying glass some tweezers and pop a Viagra and go rub one out, because that's what you are

Man just stop the abuse on other members, it's ridiculous !

I agree with vs-lover on abusing other members. If this forum is to be taken seriously then the abuse must stop. No need to give people warnings, kick them off.

Try a compression test.

Just as a matter of interest a compression test won't show up any flaws with the Valley gaskets, only issues with Rings, Valves and Head Gaskets will present themselves. Valley gaskets are outside of the combustion chamber and thus won't show up.

I agree with you, am I proud of what I wrote no, am I proud for sticking up for myself yes.

How many times do I see you's attacking other people, then the rest of you's hit the like button on that attack against the other person, that to me is a group bully attack and a coward act, so don't go throwing stones in glass house's.

My apologies to vc commodore.

If there's one thing I've learnt about doing inlet manifolds (valleys) and that is cleanliness on assembling parts is the best approach.

Ensure you use a good "anti-seize" product on the inlet manifold bolts as they get subjected to corrosion and sometimes aren't in the best shape.
I guess your weather today is far better than our 45 degrees here in Adelaide currently. Wouldn't be touching anything on a car today or tomorrow that's for sure.

Sometimes it's not about sticking up for ones self and being proud, rather it takes a bigger man to simply step aside and not pick fights in the first instance.
