What other good oil serperator/ catch cans would you recommend?

I don’t like the look of the alloy ones which is one reason I like this one, also I like that there’s an actual filter on it to catch the oil as opposed to steel wool or drilled holes.

Steel wool is good, it's designed as a vapour diffuser and works a treat... cheap, throwaway and easily replaced. Looks do not equate to function although I can assure you the function is good and I don't have your average LS.

Do you have one ? I'm looking into the Elite E2 but unsure which verison to get. Single or dual exit ports and the one way check valves.

Thanks, I saw that but in their FAQ section they also recommed the dual exit if you WOT regularly, which I do.

Has anyone seen a provent 200 kit for GM V8’s?
I’m sold on the provent so now just trying to find the easiest way to fit it and keep it looking stockish.

Hi all just an update.
I finally fitted the ProVent catch can to my SSV.
I won’t go into to much detail but feel free to ask any questions.

I had to make up a bracket to fit the catch can. There is a threaded bolt hole near the idler pulley on the drivers side that I used.
Then it was just a matter of plumbing it all up. Here’s some photos of it all installed.

This is the Prent 200 kit i bought

And the finished install

Parts list for what I used

ProVent 200 catch can kit
$300 (eBay)

12>8mm reducers x2
$10.50 (eBay)

8mm oil resistant hoes 1m
$20 (eBay)

New PCV hoes
$16 (holden)

Unfortunately now that it’s finished I don’t need to use the mistress so not going to know how much oil it collects till about Christmas but we’ll update after about 1000km’s

Also sold as high performance solution for Camaro by summit and rebranded by Lingenfelter as their top catch can.
I was looking at the 400 series but Lingenfelter use two x 200 for procharged Corvettes.

Off topic question...What happened to Monstar? Did he get banned again. He has been gone for a long time.

That’s a shame!! There doesn’t appear to be many knowledge guru members left if Monstar’s permanently banned. A loss to the forum.
Admin should reconsider.
