I'm not the one sitting there saying how an actual sport like BMX shouldn't be in the Olympics... Stupid moron! They have worked for 10 years to try and get into it and they had to fight bloody hard to make it an Olympic sport.
loving how in the swimming everyone is having a sook for getting a silver instead of a gold. or so on. then looking at other sports and they are absolutely over the moon for either a) competing or b) getting a medal of any colour. now if only they would show some more sports other then swimming, like the table tennis.
Its because AIS & Australian Media talk up our swimmers to much. We are expected to go there and win all the medals. And when we don't we wine.

There's the X Games for example, as well as how many other "extreme" sports only events where it features prominently where they can compete against other countries. Thats my argument mate.
You're still an idiot mate and you still have no idea. How a bout you watch the actual BMX when it's on and you will see how different it is to the X Games. It's not based on jumping or tricks, it's a race against other people.
I switched on to watch the weighlifting earlier, got all excited when they said the Kazakh chick was about to take the gold medal in the snatch. Imagine my disappointment when they just hung it around her neck instead.......
Right on the money^ You would think that since its only on every 4 years they would hold off on the adds for a little bit but no... I mean i dont care for the games but i was watching it last night cos i couldn't sleep and didn't want to get into a movie then would of had to stay up. I noticed the ad breaks were on so often its disgusting. I suppose they need to make their money i mean they are very exclusive for the ad rights from what i heard. Also im pretty keen on the olympic hunter group on FB lol. Never new so many hotties would be there. *I know i said add and ad lol ^^*
10th in overall medals, 24th in main standings Not real good at this stage, but because of our epic haul of silver, even a few golds will see us jump a lot of other nations in the standings
I agree, its not an extreme sport like skating or freestyle BMX, its a form of racing the same as Velodrome and road racing.
