Guys,
I'm having H&R coilovers fitted in a few weeks. I'm thinking I may do a little preventative maintenance while the front struts are out and replace the OEM rubber top strut mounts that apparently have a tendency to collapse/fail early. I'm chasing improved steering/cornering response WITHOUT much increase to NVH, if at all.

Has anyone had direct experience with either of the following strut mounts and can give feedback on their performance and NVH characteristics?

(2) SuperPro Polyelast (Hybrid Polyurethane/Rubber) Standard Repair Upgrade Kit (SPF1590AK) (Link)

This G8 Forum Discussion has a good comparison of the strut mount options for the VF, but it was theoretical. Didn't see any feedback on real world performance & NVH characteristics.

I've fitted a few of each. I run the the rubber ones on my VR with coilovers and they do the job fine.
You can get bigger washers that curve on the inside to add more stiffness.

I've run Superpro in all my cars. Currently have their Polyelast versions in my daily wagon. Can't tell the difference tbh.

So you've not noticed ANY increase in NVH after fitting SuperPro Polyelast top mounts lowandslow?
Did you notice any performance differences?

No... Polylast are just like OEM, but longer lasting.
You'll get a slight increase in NVH with Super Pro urethane strut tops, but they are more performance oriented, makes quite a difference in steering feel.

Thanks Imoegnr. I've decided not to go with the SuperPro Polyurethane version based on NVH increases that even SuperPro acknowledge it has. Will stick with the SuperPro Polyelast version.

Any performance difference between OEM rubber mount and SuperPro Polyelast mount?
