    Hey Guys,

Over the past few weeks i have been doing a new colour scheme to my 96 VS Commodore. I' am nearing completion of all the things I've wanted to do to it as far as the Interior goes. I just need new carpet and still deciding if i should just put seat covers over the seats or get in some new ones. Anyways here are the progress pics... I' am wanting some opinions on what colour carpet i should go for. Am wanting either Black or Red. Your thoughts Please

Definently black carpet! Red will be too hard to keep clean and will look terrible.

    Hey Guys,

Yep i think i will, have now had more people say go with the Black Carpet. White50L have you got an example of the VS SS seats. I was wanting the SS seats to start with but in leather. Since the colour scheme has since then changed i think i will go with the Cloth SS Seats.

Over all what does everyone think of it so far?

All Opinions are most welcome :)

    Cheers

Looks like you did a good job on the painting, I just dont like the colour...but everyone is different lol. Def go the black carpet (maybe u could do a red hoodling?) I dunno...but it will look more complete once you get the SS seats or do whatever it is your doing to them ;)

hehehehe thanks mate :).... Each to their own i guess. Everyone has different taste in everything in this world and it sure would be boring as all hell if everyone liked all the same things.

Black carpet will be the way to go. I can't keep my red shoes clean let alone having red carpet mate.

also do you have a vt-vx engine and intake or just the manifold. looks a bit different?

Nar mate, its a VS engine and Manifold. The CAI was a Factory one from Holden. He said that they are Designed for V8's... I was thinking the after Market SS CAI were designed for the V8 and Superchargers.

woa thats close to mine, i think you've even used the same type of red, but mines two tone, with black, looks sick but.
but i dunno about ss seats, their good, but because you've opted to go for a more stand out colour coding. maybe you could just retrim the seats in a colour coded leather to match?

That's what the VS engine looks like when you take the Ecotec engine cover off of it.

Not my cup of tea with the painting scheme mate, but you did a good job!! Look nice and smooth, good to see you used clear too. Definantly go with black carpet, red will look bloody terrible.

you should also paint your rotors, they make your brakes look a bit meh. same with the height of the car.
