No, YellowTop is YellowTop... They just come in different physical sizes. Obviously with physical size, the capacity might change slightly. D34 fits a Commodore perfectly.

BlueTop is the same capacity and size as a YellowTop but with an extra set of terminals. D34 Blue specs.

I think if you run the Blue Top for car audio purposes the battery wont be covered under warranty? Well thats just what ive been told.

You should be able to buy a YT for under $400, i was looking on a site a few weeks ago and they advertised the D34 YT for $380 or something. I'll have a dig and see if i can find the link, they provide postage too ;)

Not too sure whether the sale is still on....$340 for a D34 YT isnt too bad though ;)
I paid $575 for my D31, was pissed off to see these guys had them for $444.

No worries, i went for the D31 because it was the biggest Optima make, and i was after as much power as possible (dedicated SPL system). It dosent fit in the stock location of my VR, its up the back...heres a piccy ;)

Yep the D34s are a strong battery, theres not that much in between the D34 and the D31....its just i needed every little bit of power i could get. Ive still gotta buy a D34 for the front of my car, post back here if they still have that special on ;)
