OTR to fit aluminium radiator on ve ssv

Replaced stock radiator with an jayrad alloy unit but when I went to refit the Growler OTR cold air induction it will not sit onto alloy radiator , sits up too high as apparently slight differences in radiators . Anyone fitted an aluminium radiator to their VE with an OTR successfully and if so what brand was the OTR. I really don't want to put pod filters or original air box on it , wanting cold air induction system that will fit , maybe VCM (rang VCM but the
