    Hi guys
Was wondering what were the major pros and cons of an OTR, Pod filter and how they compare to stock CAI and each other on the Ve II.
What would you guys suggest and what have your experiences been?
    thanks :)

only one way to go really if you want maximum gains

OTR is a far better option

anyone have any figures or firsthand experience? the first link was a good read but they were definitely selling a product over giving an unbiased opinion.

OTR intakes can also suffer from heat soak

i use a airhammer cai, , the pod sits down behind the spotlight, so heat isnt really an issue. i havent had any issues with it, fitted fairly easily and is about 1/3 the cost of a otr.

I just installed an OTR intake(2nd hand off ebay). It's the one to go for, it looks really neat.
I can't comment on the performance aspect as I'm probably not going to blow half a weeks pay for someone to plug a computer in, but the throttle does seem to react a little bit faster.

After looking at the different versions the otr version is the go but not for that crazy price!! Are they real? $560 plus for a hunk of plastic and a k&n filter!! $250 is more like it. I might make my own version ;)

OTR + a retune and you'll gain decent benefits.

When modifying a car, cost doesn't matter. You shouldn't be analyzing the cost of mods to determine their worth. Go away with your evil logic.

    Why re-invent the wheel?
Invest in a quality intake and be done with it. Harrop's one and the new VCM OTR are both great units.
