Overheating after oil change

HELP!

I changed the oil in my V6 the other day, now when I stop I can hear a thumping sound from the engine cause the coolant is bubbling. I accidentally put 5 litres of oil in as I thought this was correct now I find out its 4.1 so I took out 1 litre of oil but it's still overheating. I put a new radiator in the other week cause the old one was stuffed and everything was fine until I changed the oil. If there's too much oil will this make it overheat?? And can I have damaged something by overfilling it and driving it around for a couple of days?? My cooling system is fine.

engine oil wont make it overheat, pressure test the cooling system, it will be leaking somewhere

It's not leaking man new radiator, cap, hoses and thermostat, flushed 3 times. The level in the reservoir doesn't drop either. The cooling system was fine for over a week, straight after I did the oil change I drove into town and when I got there I heard this thumping sound from the engine and all the coolant is jumping around inside the hoses. It's something to do with the oil change. I used oil flush too apparently that can be bad if there's too much crap in there ??

Did you check the oil level after you filled it, or just read how much it should have and removed some?
Check the dipstick first.
Who said the radiator was leakin, said to pressure test it all which I would recommend.

Man i'm not a moron i checked the dipstick it's on full now. I can't work out why the peice of crap would overheat from a ****in oil change. And there's nothing wrong with my brand new cooling system. LOL!

take it to someone who knows what they are doing, obviously theres something wrong with it that you cant spot.
Nobody called you a moron & people were offering advice trying to help.
now im not saying you are stupid but take it to a professional.

having said that, did you bleed the cooling system when you worked on it?

what about inlet manifold gasket mine seems to leakin a bit from drivers side

What would coolant be doing in the inlet manifold? You mean where the air goes into the cylinders right?

Did you reconnect the fan when you replaced your radiator?

Maybe your thermostat isn't opening.
