Hey Everyone,

I have searched the forums, found some good suggestions but thought i would post my own thread to see what others think.

Currently, when the engine temp reaches 102 Degrees i can hear boiling in the reservoir with fans not running unless AC is on which is not ideal long term. I have replaced the Radiator, Pipes, water pump, radiator cap and Thermostat and still same issue even when i have bleed the air out of the system.

My next thought was to look at replacing the Coolant temp sensor.

Thoughts anyone?

Coolant temp sensor, worth doing, not expensive.
Have you checked the fan is working?
So both fans come on or one?

If it is pressurised then it can't boil at 102 degrees, so if the radiator hoses are firm (under pressure) then the temperature reading is off. Replace the sender as previously mentioned.

So before all this replacement it did the same as its doing now? Thermo relays maybe, did you bleed it with heater on full?

Yeah, could be air bubbling through rather than it boiling.

Just this arvo I screen shotted a bit of info on the Alloytec cooling system.

Correct, I bleed the system with heater on full and no change unfortunately

Does anyone know at what temp does the fans kick in? My local mechanic who did my thermostat said 90 degrees the fans should kick in and within forums people say 108 which is a big difference considering mine is boiling at 102.

Correction - with the AC running the drivers side fan is working and not the other, so not sure what to make of that.
