Check the overflow filler cap.
Check the cheap stuff first. A faulty filler cap can cause cooling problems. It happened to me with the car close to brand new. It used to overheat then suddenly plunge to normal in traffic. A new filler cap sorted it. The gurgling you are hearing could be the air leaking into the system (which is pressurised).
There is this gargling sound that comes from the overflow bottle i simply cant stop it I've done a complete flush changed coolant had the front end elevated making sure there was no air in the system but after a long drive or if i give it a little bit of a hard time when i turn the engine off it starts. It gargles for a good 15. 20 mins. Whats going on can anyone help???
