Update

Starting to look like a car again.
Piecing it back together slowly..

And the black roof lining and sunglasses holder conversion is complete

I'm stuck on the rear wiring harness at the moment causing loss of time. The whole thing is being re-wired.
The Calais main loom is now installed but the ABS module is different. The Calais one has 4 wheel ABS where as the base model only has FL FR and Rear. Meaning there is an extra ABS line running to the rear of the Calais and being a sedan the line won't fit a wagons wheel base.
Hoping it doesn't throw me an ABS error on startup but it's not looking good.
If it does I'll be sourcing the extra line off a berlina wagon if they exist.

Update

Some more progress over the weekend.

The looms are in.
Main harness wasn't much fun!

The dash is coming along nicely.

The roof lining is in.
The rear harness had to be completely re-wired to cater for the factory amp, reverse sensors and fuel pump control module
it was roughly 10 hours work alone!

Yea wiring harness is one thing I never plan on messing with. Looking good but! Seriously starting to look like a car again!

Update

Final stages of the build are being carried out.

Engine and fuel tank installed.
Minor hiccup when we found that the t/s centre bearing is almost non existent, ordering a new one will delay a few days now

Update

Some more progress going on here.

Starting to come together nicely with the front bar on after the new fog lights arrived.

Started her up for the first time last night. Kicked over first go, no errors as of yet but the test will come when time to drive.
Mind my 4yo screaming in the background as it was loud running from straight cats

The front & rear windscreens are due to be installed tomorrow

A mate of mine has a Hothouse Green SS & it looks great. It looks even better on the wagon.
Excellent build so far with great detail.
Your missus is gonna love you a long time for this!
