This is me, I have a couple of cars with paddles and use the 9 and 3 position even when cornering and don't have any problems as they are always at my finger tips.

I can't think of any times I change mid corner anyway unless I change down to flick the arse out and I'm too old for that anyway.

If I need to full lock the wheel while manoeuvring I'm usually going too slow to change.

.
Fair enough this is first car with paddles so I will take that as operater error and adjust procedure lol I had not long had the car at the time and had moved hands while cornering and was fumbling for the shift

I find the paddles a bit painful in the twisty stuff as the paddles aren't always in a good spot to use. Usually revert back to using the shifter as you don't have to take your eyes off the road to see where the paddles are positioned.

Or too fast and is unlikely to make any difference anyway.

Hey there.

that photo is a photoshop of the paddles I was getting to test. Very early on.

we do have some that are a modified version of these.

they are made in germany and no silly double sided tape here brother. They are bolted on so can be removed at any point then put back on at will.

PM the J-LED facebook for more info.

*edit* ok I see his VF ones. mmm not great looking IMO.

supposedly aluminium but don't look as good as the ones i posted above.

I also use my left hand to upshift (or right hand to downshift) when the wheel is at a further than standard grip (3-9) and I have changed grip. After some practice you get use to it and I never find the paddles out of reach.
