Not sure if this is the correct thread, have found a VT commodore i wish to purchase, has 115,000 Kms on it, only problem with the car is that the front and back bars need replacing due to minor damage.

So the question i put to you, i know how much it will cost to buy and fit a bodykit, but i was wondering how much it would cost to get the whole car painted in one of 3 colour combinations: Raven Mica with a light grey on the kit, Tiger Mica with black on the kit, or Yellow with black on the kit.

A respray will cost you alot of money, it cost me $4500 to respray my VR with same colour.

Your looking probably around $6000 for a proper job, but there are cheaper but it comes to the quality you want.

That would be for the whole car.

The whole car, but the paint has a better finish then the original, it comes to how much you want to spend.

a decent spray painter, would spray a vt sedan for round $5k, thats stock colour & all

its a time preparation thing, the time, labour, the sanding back of the car, ripping off certain parts, trims, badges, re-aligning of stuff, taping & masking, all this is time consuming & they charge u!

so yeah, $5k for a stock part, front & rear bars about $1k to respray thats including removal, fitting, re-aligning & spray!
