Hey, sorry if this is is a stupid question or if has already been covered,
I recently just bought some 19 inch metallic grey advanti viennas for my vy of a mate, with that he gave me the hole set of wheel nuts or wateva, but i think that it would look good if the wheel nuts were black (their silver).

the questions i am asking are: -can i paint them? or will the paint strip of em when they are put on the car
- can i just buy black ones from somewere? are they cheap?
-do u guys think that the wheel nuts shouldnt stand out to much, like the rims should be the main focus, just want some general opinions

i have a mate that has one of those air spray set ups n could get him to paint em if that could work, just let us know,

thanks guys and sorry again about my lack of general car knowledge, lol

What size and type are the nuts? You can get covers for some types, then have them whatever colour you want!

Maybe get them powdercoated (obviously not the thread).....that's pretty tuff, hard to chip.

Holdens sell the black caps like STEALTHY has above. I would say ANY paint would just be a waste of time

It would still scratch off eventually after having the wheel brace on them.

i would paint the covers not the nuts. most workshops use rattle guns to undo wheels nut so paint will only last a second when the wheel are removed

I was thinking of looking into some nut covers as well asmy chromeish mag nuts are looking a bit shabby after a few years and a bunch of times on and off. Do they happen to come in any other colours like silver maybe?
