    hey guys yea just a question here. im guna respray my car and the current paint is acrylic and i wana respray it in 2pack metallic. if i prime my car in acrylic surface primer will that be ok or should i use somethin else. thanx heaps

    any help guys, im runnin outa time. the respray now is guna be a 2pack solid with a pearl instead of metallic so any help would b appreciated.

    Ok, I would definately suggest you use a primer reccomened for the type of paint you are going to paint the car with. Wherever you bought the paint from should be able to tell which is the best option for you. Just ring them and ask, as I'm not positive.

    But, don't just settle for a cheaper brand of primer, as it will affect the final outcome of the paint job. You'll thank yourself afterwards for splurging on a good quality primer.
