I have a white VN, with the normal grey coloured bumpers - what color should I paint them? Or should I even paint them at all? What colour suits a white VN?

hey mate, cause your in vic too, im guessing the weather was shithouse for you aswell?:p ripped apart my interior today, and i already got a cold.. sucked >.> but if you havent done it yet, i'd probably suggest the gun, i find spray cans do okay.. but the guns just so much better, and heres a pic of my car currently, garnish/tail lighs black, i probably wouldnt do your tail lights black, looks like a p platers car, but my tail lights are aftermarket ****, so black looks heaps better. lol, good luck.:) cant wait for pics.

Edit: infact. if anyone is to spray their tail lights black, i'd nearly suggest TINTING instead of "night shades" i used night shades, which is a spray can. as you can see, its now faded compared to in the other pictures, and along with tinting them, get a calais garnish, and paint the white lines. im yet to take the paint off my garnish and get it back to its original black, then paint the lines with a marker or something lol (reason being, the calais garnish is a nice gloss, probably suit the tail lights compared to what you see in that pic.)

sorry im goin into so much detail. off in my own world :p

I wouldn't mix gloss and matte. If your careful patient and have a steady hand spraying its easy i spray all my own stuff. I use gun for bigger stuff but small bits i use pressure because i cbf setting and clean gun ect.. and if you stuff up.. just lightly sand with wet and dry till smooth and the shine is off and do it again, plus practice is good. =]
